Career Advising – Julie serves as a Career Advisor, assisting Wycliffe missionaries in transition, those returning to or from the field or considering a change in assignment. The mission statement for the Career Guidance department describes their purpose as follows: To enable members to understand who they are, as gifted by God, energizing them to serve to their fullest potential in the Bible translation task.
Qualifications – Julie holds an A.A. in Accounting / Computer from North Iowa Area Community College, and a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies, with emphases in Business and Linguistics, from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her previous career experience includes programming, accounting, assisting translators in language software applications, and personnel administration. In March 2013, Julie successfully completed the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator certification course, and is now certified to administer the MBTI Step I and Step II assessments.
