Career Advising & Coaching – Julie serves as a Career Advisor and Coach, assisting Wycliffe missionaries in transition, those returning to or from the field or considering a change in assignment. As a Career Advisor, Julie’s purpose is to enable staff to understand who they are as gifted by God, energizing them to serve to their fullest potential in the Bible translation task.
In her role as coach, Julie comes alongside other Wycliffe staff to help them thrive in new places personally, professionally, and spiritually so they can fully engage and fulfill their purposes in accomplishing the mission God has entrusted to them.
Qualifications – Julie holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies, with emphases in Business and Linguistics, from the University of Texas at Arlington, and an A.A. in Accounting / Computer from North Iowa Area Community College.
Julie is certified to administer and interpret the MBTI® personality assessment instruments, as well as the Strong Interest Inventory®. She is recognized within SIL, Wycliffe, and partner organizations as a Strengths coach. Julie has also been trained as a coach through Creative Results Management’s Coaching Mastery Certificate Program, and plans to pursue ACC Coach certification through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Her previous career experience includes programming, accounting, assisting translators in language software applications, and personnel administration.
