Coaching and Team Development Specialist – Julie serves as a Coaching and Team Development Specialist on Wycliffe USA’s Staff Development team. In addition to her primary roles of coaching individuals, groups, and teams, she assists in Team Development and Career Development as needed. In this role, Julie comes alongside other Wycliffe staff to encourage and inspire them to thrive in new places personally, professionally, and spiritually so they can fully engage and make their best contribution to the Bible translation task.
Qualifications – Julie is an accredited coach with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) at the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) level. She holds the Individual Team Coaching Accreditation (ITCA) with the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).
Julie is certified to administer and interpret the MBTI® personality assessment instruments, as well as the Strong Interest Inventory®. She is recognized within SIL, Wycliffe, and partner organizations as a Strengths Coach.
Julie holds a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies, with emphases in Business and Linguistics, from the University of Texas at Arlington, and an A.A. in Accounting / Computer from North Iowa Area Community College.
Her previous career experience includes programming, accounting, assisting translators in language software applications, personnel administration and care, and career guidance.
