How can people know Him when they cannot clearly understand the words they hear or read— or worse, when they have no Scriptures available to them? Over 2800 language communities do not have access to even one verse of Scripture. (See https://www.wycliffe.net/statistics.) They need to experience God’s Word in their heart language. Some communities have never even heard about Jesus. Bible translation can mean the difference between eternity with God and eternity without Him. Bible translation is foundational to every aspect of Christian ministry. It leads to evangelism, discipleship and church planting. It transforms lives as people become passionate followers of Jesus Christ.
