Rod’s assignment is with SIL International, Wycliffe’s primary partner organization which oversees Bible translation and language development work on the field. Rod serves under SIL’s Global Information and Technology Services department as a Business Continuity Consultant and includes responsibilities found under Rod’s Current Activities.
Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery – Rod serves as a consultant, trainer, and application administrator, helping to ensure that mission-critical operations continue to function, or are quickly restored, in the aftermath of some disruptive event, disaster, or crisis. In a world full of natural disasters and conflicts, and with SIL’s work increasingly in high-risk areas of the world, this is crucially important. Qualifications – Rod holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from UNC Charlotte. His certifications and certificates include:
